Our 24-25 Campaign Annual Radio Auction will be held in October 7-25, weekdays on WRJB-FM 95.9. You must listen then call in to place a bid, but the auction will be showing live on our Facebook page - United Way Radio Auction of Benton County. The phone numbers will be posted on our Facebook pages the week before the auction in order for you to put them in your phones and be ready to bid.
We are excited to announce that the building will be open to the public so they may come in, look around, have lunch, and place bids. You may write in a bid up to the time the lot goes on the radio. You may place call in or walk-up bids while the items are up on the auction table.
We are also holding the auction for three weeks as in the past, before Covid. After trying to have two shorter auctions each year, the board and volunteers feel that it is time to try to get back to normal.
Our partner agencies, churches, businesses, organizations and individuals will again be donating items to be auctioned. Several churches are providing lunches daily for purchase. The cost of the meals will again be $8.00 every day except the last day. The Rib-eye Steak sandwich sale will be $10.
We also have several levels for sponsorships. Anyone wishing to become a sponsor may call Jo at 731-441-2299.
It takes great effort to coordinate the auction, but our entire community supports the UWBC purpose of helping others, and we have a lot of fun and fellowship while raising funds for those in need. We are looking forward to our 24-25 auction and believe that this year will be a great one.
